Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
My first two questions upon enabling my sub-theme:
AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! WHAT ARE ALL OF THOSE CRANKY PINK LINES?
AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! WHAT ARE ALL OF THESE "DEBUGGING" BLOCKS?
An easy thing to do for the debugging block concept is maybe changing the text to "This is a debugging block. (?)" that links you off to some documentation about it.
The crazy pink lines, I'm less sure of. Maybe a starter block in the "branding" region that explains what's going on? (and has a "hide this block" after)

Argus CreditAttribution: Argus commentedFunny I never had those questions, surely if I had they would NEVER made me write 2 lines of capitals.
Then again my issue posts never made me get a +1 by the theme/module dev within less then a day either so why complain...:)

webchickYeah, I should clarify that I am not a designer, don't know anything about grid systems, how to do responsive design, etc. I'm in fact attempting to use this base theme as an attempt to shortcut having to learn all of that stuff by just hacking around with some CSS. ;)
Still though, I'm probably not the only one, and this "make the default subtheme super busy and then toggle stuff on and off" mechanism is very unique to this theme, it seems, so could probably use some description either way.

Argus CreditAttribution: Argus commentedIt could be as simple as turn both options off by default. That way you would get a 'normal' basetheme display.
