corbacho CreditAttribution: corbacho commentedThanks jscm, sorry I didn't answer before. I think you have very valid point but I've being busy and I wanted to make some tests before to see how it affects to different configurations, also from the SEO point of view, what if Global Redirect is enabled, etc
But anyway I will provide a setting in the admin page to enable this.

jscm CreditAttribution: jscm commentedHi,
I use Global Redirect, and I use Facebook Social Module with -without Alias- setting on.
It is really strong. I can change alias for content edited newly, I get that content keeps fb likes, fb comments, ecc ecc.
Global Redirect does all work... it is "The Best"!
If I use G+ button I send content url, without alias, inside my google profile. This have not real effect about seo, because Global Redirect rewite url and, in this status, Google uses rewrited url (see google webmaster tools).
it is possible to increase strong, using >global redirect + pathauto + path redirect< modules.
All works properly.

jscm CreditAttribution: jscm commentedThis feature is too much important.
Today I changed alias (using pathauto, url redirect, node convert) for 995 nodes.
I have lost ALL +1 previous actions. it was really not good.
It is a real problem. This feature is necessary.
