It doesn't seem like Conditional Fields is working with Media. I have a Video field (YouTube) set up as a dependent to a taxonomy term and it's always shown. Looking at the code, the Video field is never set to "display:none" or "display:block" like other fields are with the same dependency set.

And I'll also point out that the required condition also doesn't appear to be working fully. It puts the red asterisk next to the field label, but it isn't validated on form submit. This seems like it could be something that Media is doing to it's fields, but compatibility with the module is a must given how much it's used.

We're having the same problem- both uploading a local file and a youtube video doesn't work if dependencies are turned on. This seems like an old issue- is anyone looking into a possible fix for this?

CF initial scope was entity type "node", but has been expanded in Drupal core 8 versions and above. Please test if it works with newer veriosn of this project. Apart from that:

Thanks for the report and all the efforts in here. But due to inactivity in this issue for some years and because of the upcoming EOL of Drupal 7, I will close this issue on the way by cleaning up the issue queue.

Feel free to re-open as "Needs review" if you found a solution or have a patch to be reported to help others on this outdated version.

If you think this issue or missing feature should be addressed in a newer Drupal core 8 and above compatible version of this project, then please file a new issue to the latest dev.
