carnau CreditAttribution: carnau commentedI'm interested on this.
I see that now, nodejs integration has D6 version in dev release, so maybe a backport of the D7 nodejs functionality is not very difficult.

No response, no news?

carnau CreditAttribution: carnau commentedI'm trying to backport it. For now, I've copied the D7 code into D6 branch but I can't get it work.
I see that there is connection between nodejs server and my drupal on every page load, but messages between users are not send.
I attach my mod so if someone want to contribute feel free to do it.

carnau CreditAttribution: carnau commentedNew version with some fixes related to js. Also some more code was backported.
Now drupal communicates with nodejs server when user sends a message, but something is preventing the message reaches its destination.

If anyone can look at, thank you in advance to all.

How bad the performance issue without node.js server?
Thanks!

pounardI am too interested by the node.js feature backport into D6 branch. I don't need it right now, but I may need it later: if I come to this point, I will probably try to do it starting from the patches there's here.
