Is there a way to create a found set for a user without going into layout mode?
My use example is this;
A user clicks on a button for a category of item.
The result found set is all items in that category from Filemaker.

How do you think the module should handle that? A Go To Related Record feature, where the user can choose the layout (node) to view the related record(s)?

When you create (or Edit a Filemaker Content), after you select the database to connect to (Connection to FieMaker database: ) the developer would enter a default action (right now the implied default action is Show All)
This action would most of the time be some type of find. The same way you select a number of fields to display (in the Layout Mode tab), the developer would do the same thing, select a field, and a string to pass to Filemaker (the string would be either a hard coded string, or a node identifier).
Another option might be to the Filemaker PHP api, this would let the developer just type a string to define the action in a manner similar to a PHP call.
