Problem/Motivation

Drush install of Drupal 7.8 development installation, modules and themes then created 4 multi sites.
Garland 7.8 default install.

Copied Garland default theme to /sites/all/themes/.
Renamed and altered the .info file, template.php and theme-settings.php garland variables to the new variable names as per tutorial:
http://opensourcecms.pro/drupal/howto-drupal-7-sub-theme-creation-step-b...

Theme seemed to work ok until I changed the header colors in garland which resulted in WSOD and no access.
I copied and altered Bartik theme because the garland theme was dysfunctional and when I changed the color of the footer it gave WSOD.

I have WSOD on this multisite only and no way to get to the site to revert to default themes.
I have repeated this 3 times for both Garland and Bartik.

Other multi sites running of the same drupal installation are unaffected.
Garland and Bartik in the default install work well.

I thought it may have been a faulty change in the .info file with the addition of base theme = garland and base theme =bartik but no effect still no access.

An original change in color of Garland header did not affect the copied sub theme but altered the default garland theme, replaced my logo with the default logo and was irreversible, to attempt another color change in sub theme always results in no site access because Drupal 7 does not automatically default on failure to the admin theme.

Need help please

Actually, this is meant for Drupal 8's Garland. Garland comes with Drupal 7.8 at /themes/garland. If you just download Drupal 7, you should get Garland with it.

The original report appears to be about D7, which isn't supported at this contrib project.
