I turned the comment feature off in Content Types but comments are still available for logged in users. Is there something I'm missing?

jjeff CreditAttribution: jjeff commentedI doubt this has anything to do with bio.module. This module shouldn't affect comments at all.

jaskegreen CreditAttribution: jaskegreen commentedI think I may know what is going on but not know how to fix it. Even though I disabled comments in Content Types under the Workflow section, it didn't affect the Bio node's default comment state.
Thanks for any help.

jjeff CreditAttribution: jjeff commentedChanging the comment setting for the node-type won't change the setting for any existing nodes of that type. That can often times be confusing. I'm going to mark this one as fixed, but let me know if there needs to be any followup.

Allie MickaBio allows you to use a Content type to display user information. Content types can be configured to support comments. So the answer is nope, not impossible :)
Enable comments for any node type that you're using for the bio node type, and you're good to go.
