SWF Files showing White Box in IE Internet Explorer

I recently updated SWF Tools on one of our sites to 6.x-3.0-beta5 and flash banners would show a white box in IE but worked fine in Firefox. I spent most of the day trying to figure out why by reading through the documentation and all the forum posts.

Then when I was just about to give up, I found this post: http://drupal.org/node/795254 and a comment that follows:

I was having a similar problem, and the solution I found was in the embedding options for SWF Tools it had the flash version defaulting to 7 for some reason. Changed it over to 9 and everything went swimmingly!"

I did that and EVERYTHING now Works Great!! Thank You fafnirbcrow!

So I am asking if you can please change the default or make it a little more available in the documentation that this needs to be changed. Also posting this to help the next blind guy like me.
