Hi,
I recently noticed that there's a bug with translatable forums in Safari. One of the users in my website reported that he cannot post a new topic in English (link dissappears and gets an access denied with the URL example.com/node/add/forum). However, with example.com/es/node/add/forum, he can create it with no problem.
He reported this in Safari v 5.1.1(7534.51.22) only. He can post fine in both languages with IE and Chrome, so I'm assuming it's not an issue with my setup.
Setup:
OS: Linux
Database: MySQL 5
Web Server: Apache 2.2.17
PHP 5.2
Drupal 7.8
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
Francisco

LendudeI tried to reproduce this on a much newer version of Safari and couldn't.
Something I did run into was that you need to add the right node permissions for the forum node type, just having 'administer forums' won't allow you to add forum topics. But that isn't browser specific.
Feel free to reopen this if this is still an issue on newer browsers for you.
