Trying to send emails using cron. Not only templates from theme directory aren't applied, but values of various CCK fields which even cannot appear in newsletter type of content get inserted at random in title and body of the message. Sending mails on node save works fine.

Can you use your newsletter templates in your admin theme as well, to see if it's the same bug than others?

Hello Simon,
I noticed reports of others telling that template overrides don't get applied. But I failed to find there anything about irrelevant CCK fields being inserted at random. That's why I created another issue. Testing at the moment is a bit difficult, cause I only have a production server for this project. When you fix issue with templates, I will try the solution to see if it fixes my problem.
