Hello,
Diacritical marks like ą, ę, ć, ó are not displayed properly in slideshow items. I have already checked my database configuration but it's correct - utf8. Moreover the same letters in articles and pages are displayed without any problems. Do you have any idea how to fix it?
Best Regards
Adrian

I'm not sure whether that is still an issue for you, but I think you experience the same problems I had with the Russian characters. It is very easy to solve. Since you insert the slideshow code directly into page.tpl.php, you need to make sure that you save this file in UTF-8 coding (by default editors usually have other coding selected). You can use NotePad++ for that. Open you page.tpl.php, choose "Encoding" tab, and select "Convert to UTF-8". Than save, and it will display the coding properly. It helped me with Cyrillic characters.
