Semantic CSS grid layout with LESS gives a method of using LESS mixins to keep HTML semantics clean (and keep layout arrangement to one file). Might this be a possibility for the future of the Square Grid theme (using the LESS module)?

This might be a possibility, but understand that the idea of this framework is to keep it simple. LESS is an added requirement, and entails an added knowhow requirement for all users, which makes implementation less of a priority at this point.

If Less, Skinr or other variable-configuration system becomes available as a Drupal project for themes to implement/integrate, that might be the better way to go. What do you think?
