I need it very much myself, so I'll start porting it right now. Unless I run into some obstacles that make it impossible to port to D7, I'll contact the original developer and ask whether the port can be contributed or maybe, if he doesn't want to work on it any more, the project taken over.

MickC CreditAttribution: MickC commentedThanks djg_tram - it's a great module and worth the effort. D7 is well set up to share codebase, but I can't see anywhere in D7 yet that allows sharing the same db for multiple sites, which is what I need.

I haven't yet investigated the scenario of shared databases, fortunately, my provider allows me as much as I like.
