I am experimenting with Renderable elements and Hierarchical Select on a development site and I happened to notice that once you activate the Renderable elements module, it breaks the javascript for the Hierarchical Select module. While I am still able to us the non JS "update" button, it does DRASTICALLY reduce the user experience.
I am not sure if this issue is caused by the Renderable elements module or the Hierarchical Select module, therefore I am posting identical issues in both modules so that it gets into the correct hands....

I found that you CAN use the two modules together, HOWEVER it only works correctly for users who do not have permission to use the Renderable elements module. In other words, an "average" user appears to be able to use the hierarchical select without interference, but an admin sees it without the nice javascript actions.
Obviously, this is not a deal breaker for most situations..... But it is a bit of a minor UI issue for administrative roles.
