Slideshow on other sites than the front page?

Is there a way I can show the slide show, which is displayed on the front page, on other pages?
Or even better just one picture in the same way.

Also is there a nicer way to handle the slideshow than editing the coding?
I see there is a slideshow area in the structure menu, which is empty...
Is there an addon I can use to handle the slideshow?

Also, while I'm at it:

I'm fairly new to Drupal and it's a little confusing to me how to arrange the blocks.
On your demo page you have a block in the footer region that says "this will be displayed on every page..". Is this just another block which is located in the footer region?
I looking for a way to put the "impressum" and other buttons in there, but I'm not too sure how to do that.
Also my site show's the user menu in the footer region, even though it's not enabled in the blocks settings.
