I built a sub-theme using Omega Tools, pretty sure I picked the Alpha HTML5 starter theme options (can't remember but the .info file has alpha regions) for http://aathaid7.vt-host.info.

It has been working really well and everyone is pleased with its ability to be responsive. On desktop browsers we are having no issues at all.

My primary content administrator, who has full administration permissions, noticed something when trying to edit a page on his iPad. If you navigate to a meeting, then click the edit tab, the overlay modal that appears is only as large as the screen size.

You can scroll the page as expected, but the modal cuts off at what would be the bottom of the initial screen, so as you scroll the darkened underlying page scrolls but the modal does not show any additional information (which for one of these edit pages because of location's map is about 1/3 of what should be displayed in the modal).

I switched the theme to Bartik and the editing modal works fine.

The modal seems to work fine on my PC based desktop in Chrome, IE, and Firefox...

Here's a screen shot. It may not be clear, but the modal box is truncated at the bottom of the screen then scrolled up a bit

does this only happen with omega? because your backend and the overlay theme is normally "seven"

Only happens with Omega, when I am viewing a page and click on an admin menu item, the modal that appears is the same size as the screen and doesn't expand when I scroll.

If I switch the site to Bartik, look at the same page, and click on an admin menu item, the modal works fine.

It really doesn't matter what the administration theme is, since the theme doesn't switch if you are going directly via the admin menu.

I would look at using a theme other than your subtheme you've created for the site as an overlay admin theme. The overlay just seems to have issues at times and I've run into this myself. Personally I prefer rubik as an admin subtheme. Another option is to do away with the overlay and use your subtheme. If you have to have the overlay and a custom omega subtheme I would try using a new subtheme that isn't configured like your main site is. There may just be too many moving parts on your main theme that the overlay is not allowing it to display correctly.

If you try and create a new subtheme "omega admin" and use it does it give you the same issues?
