Naturalist CreditAttribution: Naturalist commentedIE 8 will not display properly without switching to compatibility view. That is the problem.

Jeff Burnz CreditAttribution: Jeff Burnz commentedWhat do you mean by "not display properly", that's what I am asking you to be specific about.

Naturalist CreditAttribution: Naturalist commentedDo you know what "compatibility view is in I.E.? In order to view a Drupal site with this theme you must use compatibility view.

jc1 CreditAttribution: jc1 commentedSame problem. Without compatibility mode, there is MSIE exception window (Problem in Internet Explorer, it will be closed.) and tab is automatically restarted. After restart there is page loaded without problem, except only one - it's not possible to load even after reload. This page is: http://berunka.teptin.net/wishlist
With compatibility mode, it's ok (even wishlist).
The same problem is on "Pixture Reloaded demo", so it's not web specific.

AdaptiveTheme 7.x-2.x-dev fixed the problem.

Jeff Burnz CreditAttribution: Jeff Burnz commentedI'm going to release a new version very soon - it includes a fix for this problem with IE8 - the other option is to upgrade to the DEV version of Adaptivetheme which also includes an alternative fix, as per #6.

I have a block in the header that is a PNG as a link that does not appear unless the compatibility vies is enabled. Nor does a block in my sidebar that is showing a Views Slideshow. Clicking compatibility view fixes it. But since new users won't know anything is missing, they will probably never click it.
Everything works as expected in IE7, IE9, FF and Chrome.
