Hi!
I was interested that flickr and delicious used drupal, but I also hear that design with drupal is slightly constrained, so how is it that both these sites don't look constrained in their design.
Can the design and the drupal aspect be seperate, if not why not?
thanks t

What... Flickr uses Drupal
What... Flickr uses Drupal ?!?
Wow, how ?
Constrained?
I don't know whether Flickr or Delicious make any use of the Drupal platform, but I do know there are many misconceptions about Drupal and site design that can be dispelled by reading the manual.
thanks i will have to have a look at this:

that thread is 3 years old.
that thread is 3 years old. i would just look up phptemplate, which is drupal default theme engine.
Drupal can be made to look
Drupal can be made to look like whatever you want if you know how.

Thanks, I suppose it is a matter of seperating the design aspect from the other parts?!
