The current box plugin must be configured many times to support multiple queries.

The attached plugin can use any text field as a reference value. Say you added the text field field_foo to the user entity. A user can enter a value in field_foo and that value will be queried for and a block will be shown on the user's page with the response to that twitter query.

Needs work since I haven't dealt with l10n yet. This currently only works when no languages are defined or used.

As with any other box, after you configure it, you must place it in a region just like any other block. You shouldn't have to worry about the pages it appears on since it's pretty intelligent in itself.

Turns out it probably works with locale and i18n modules enabled. Let me know if you run into any bugs regarding that.

I enabled locale, i18n and a bunch of related modules. Added a text field to content types, multilingual and not, vocabularies, etc. Everything works for me, but let me know if you run into any related problems.
