Product option sets in views [#1430958]

Hello,

My name is Hans Cornelis and I'm fairly new to Drupal. For the moment I'm creating a Web Shop for my friend who's a textile printer. I used the Add to cart Extras Module and first of all, a big congratulations about the result! It's very nice, the layout gives a good overview! But for now I have the following question:
Is it possible to display the product attributes or option sets I created inside another table column or just next to the quantity field? I will try to make a short overview of my current structure:

- One major product containing the equal parts (description, images, price = 0,...)
- This product is referenced to different minor products which are showed in a view using Add to cart extras (for now the minor product only contains a price and size)
- Now I want the customer to be able to choose the color using a select list and I noticed that this is not possible using Add to Cart Extras. I tried the standard add to cart form but it creates a vertical layout and I want a horizontal one to keep the overview, and I like the add to cart extras the most because it has just one add to cart button.

Off course I want to help adapting the module, but I think I could use some guidance. There's put so much effort into this community that I hope I can become more and more an active member.

Hi Bojanz, thanks for this module.

I'm in need of the functionality mentioned in #1 too. I need for customers to be able to select 'Size' and 'Colour' as well as quantity.

Is this planned / possible with this module?

If not, could someone point me in the direction of how to achieve this please? I've looked but cannot seem to find a module that does this.

If I understood correctly, you are all using https://drupal.org/project/commerce_option.
This is an abandoned module that hasn't been touched in more than 2 years, and no other Commerce contrib interoperates with it.

I would be interested in adding support for https://drupal.org/project/commerce_custom_product, the recommended solution for this use case.

A lot has changed in the last 2 years.

First, the Commerce Product Option module is back into active development with a new 2.x branch (unfortunately, cpa was not in the initial scope of the 2.x rewrite).
Second, Commerce Product Option 1.x is required by Commerce Pricing Attributes (cpa), which has emerged at the same time as Commerce Customizable Products went into hibernation (last commit: 2 years ago).

Is this enough to reactivate this feature request?

For stores that specialize in parts, commerce_add_to_cart_extras highly improves UX. In my use case, typical users will add dozens of products in the cart depending on what they are trying to build or achieve. Being able to set Quantity is great. But they also need to be able to set a Rental period attribute for each product e.g. 30 days, 60 days, 90 days.

It sure would be nice to be able to extend commerce_add_to_cart_extras by making it possible to 'expose' more attributes in a bulk Add to cart form (Views) either through commerce_pricing_attributes or commerce_custom_product.
