Just wondering is you have any estimates for when Springboard might be available for Drupal 7. I am looking at a new project now and considering using Springboard for it but would really love to use D7 if possible.

Work has started to get Springboard ported to D7. Based on the volume of work involved and the number of active developers on the project it's looking like we'll have the initial port done by some time in October.

Any progress would be awesome and appreciated, as I will need to re-build my organization's site as a Salesforce-integrated one. When you say "the initial port," do you mean a production-level one (even if a bit buggy), or what level of readiness does the port mean?

I've got some non-profit projects coming up. Are you guys still planning on moving Springboard to Drupal 7? I'd be interested to know what direction your taking the donation forms in, ie are you using Ubercart still, moving to Drupal Commerce, or something else entirely?

Your interest in the Springboard project is appreciated. By initial port I mean a working and tested production-ready D7 release of Springboard. At this time we have a working donation system in D7 using Ubercart. The D7 version of Fundraiser is designed to work with either Ubercart or Commerce, however we haven't had a chance to complete Commerce integration. We are currently working to get Springboard's Salesforce integration working with the contrib Salesforce module in D7. Once this work is complete we plan on rolling out an "official" D7 release. Our revised timeline is to have Springboard production ready in the first half of Q1 2013.

The D7 port is now in QA, with some work still ongoing around Salesforce integration. We're hoping to have QA wrapped up shortly.

Commerce support has been added to the D7 version of Springboard, and the long term goal is to standardize on commerce. There has been some talk on doing away with the ubercart integration code but nothing concrete has been decided so far.

We now have an initial alpha release of springboard available on github and are agressively working on alpha-2
