Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
- Create a new article
- In the node creation form, add a really big image
- Click Save without waiting for the upload to end
The result is that the image is partially uploaded and fails. It has been suggested in #610462: Disable submit/save node during ajax-upload to disable the Save button during uploads in D6 CCK. I haven't found anything similar in D7.
What I'm suggesting is that instead of disabling the Save button, clicking the Save button should finish uploading and then save. To avoid confusion, the Save button's label could change to "Finish uploading file(s) and save".
