Just me, or the custom style fields are not being printed on the final html ?

Region classes work, but field styles don't...

For me this works nicely (except the preprocess fields where there is a general problem, working on that).
If I create a field and display it in the correct view mode, E.G full which I am using. The code field is nothing more than:

print $entity->uaid;
