Not sure if i am missing something, but when i set "Action to take when prepopulating field with values via URL" to
"disable"
or
"hide"

amitaibuIs it with user ID 1?
Try with non admin, it's probably the "skip access"

kruser CreditAttribution: kruser commentedI'm seeing this issue also as a non admin. The entity field reference field populates correctly, but it doesn't hide or disable.
amitaibuDid you try with the -dev version?
mfoda CreditAttribution: mfoda commentedhaving same problem as #3. Do I have to use the dev version? How safe is that for a production site?
Thanks
Comment #7
mfoda CreditAttribution: mfoda commentedNever mind. It is working correctly. The problem was caused by a separate issue.

ChrisValentine CreditAttribution: ChrisValentine commentedSorry but I can't get this to [not] work either. Assuming it was down to user permissions, I created a new user with lower permissions and viewed the site from a different browser - but the form fields still display as active. Neither "Hide field" nor "Disable field" make any difference to the form.

mattsmith3 CreditAttribution: mattsmith3 commentedSame Issue here. In my case, I'm using Commerce Custom Line Items and this entity reference is exposed to the payer. It's not hiding when user/1 or any other. Tried with and without views as the autocomplete selector. Latest dev of entityreference and entityreference_prepopulate.
