Hi

I successfully installed Nodestream on a shared server for testing purposes ...
For some reason, a test article, which is visible to me as admin & is "published" (it certainly has that status, also at /taxonomy/term/5#overlay=admin/content) & promoted to the "front page" does not appear if I sign out or in another browser to anonymous.

What am I doing wrong or what more does one need to do to make a published article appear?

Regards

Hi

My question above may be too obvious, but I have NO WHERE to get an answer.
I just need some answers to some questions.
May be some more detailed documentation for beginners would help a lot.
I had a look at the video at Vimeo & some other documentation, but they seem to presuppose one knows a number of things about Nodestream ...
How does one get content to show like in the video?
How come content promoted to the front & set to be sticky is not on the "front" page, etc?
...

Every time an article is created, another content type is created, called a "promo". This promo is it's own content, so that you can have multiple promos pointing to the same content placed in different places. In order for that promo to appear on the front page, it needs to have "Front page" and any of the available regions selected under the categories and regions fields that are available on it.

* Go to your article
* There should be a tab called "promos" next to edit, click on that.
* You should get a list of all available promos for that article.
* Click edit on the promo.
* Make sure that the promo is selected to be viewed on the "Front page" and in any of the regions that are available.
