Sometimes we use taxonomy view to display list of nodes belonging to a particular taxonomy term. This includes list of nodes belonging to child terms. So whenever a node is created or updated, view pages of associated terms and also their parent terms becomes outdated. There is already an option to expire associated terms. But there is no option to expire parent terms.
user (node author) page may also become stale if we display list of all nodes belonging to particular author under their user page.
So provide an option in the purge settings to purge the pages of parent terms and author
