.htaccess generation doesn't print newline properly

Hi, I've run into this weird problem. When I click "Boost htaccess rules generation" the generated rules aren't separated properly by new lines. It looks as though the '\n' in the end of each line isn't taken into account when the string is printed out. Any ideas of what might be the cause of this problem?
