Now the site name is an active link to the home page. If you want to have the site name as text in the header of every page of your site, you have to uncheck Site name in Toggle display, and create a separate block with your textual site name. Not a big deal, but still... It would be nice to be able to have something like another checkbox in Toggle display, like "Do not make my site name an active link".
I am a Drupal newbie, so my apology if I have missed some already existing feature.

ksenzeeFeature requests get implemented in the current development version first (that's 8.x right now). I have no idea what component to file it under. The link is hard-coded in the core themes, but the configuration page lives in system.module, so I'll move it there for lack of a better idea.

I found it helpful.

Maksym Kozub CreditAttribution: Maksym Kozub commentedIt is helpful in some situations but not mine :). I am using Stark as my theme. Therefore, there is no page.tpl.php to modify.

In any case, I still believe that a checkbox to remove the active link from the site name would be a nice feature to have.

dawehnerAt some point you have to accept that adding more features causes more troubles on the longrun than it solves. Most themes most probably touch page.html.twig already.
