my installation of masquerade was working fine except that it did not offer 'masquerade as user-x' within profile page as I'm used to and as stated in information with module.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall it didn't alter anything; in frustration, I deleted the mysql table for masquerade from my d/base using phpmyadmin and then tried to (re)install. The tables are not being created and the following error is received. I have been clearing all my caches tables before re-installation, and running update db, as well.

user warning: Table 'epnew.masquerade' doesn't exist query: SELECT uid_from FROM masquerade WHERE sid = 'eb79bb008109b512eacfdc419a155949' AND uid_as = 1 in C:\Documents and Settings\John\Desktop\localhost\epnew\includes\database.mysql.inc on line 172.

Have I done something wrong?
What can I do to implement a clean re-installation of the module?

Thanks,
jbc

This isn't a problem with fresh install on 5.x or upgrade from 4.7.x.
