I have installed erecruiter beta 4 and updated all the modules.

Now when I go to the admin page, to create a resume, I get a message

Resume
There is no profile data yet

I have no way to create a resume. I have a few other users (from devel module) and it is the same for them. How do I get the resume to work?

My resume pages are now only white pages. When I click the "my resume" link I go to this URL:
www.mysite.com/resume
The result is a white page.

Has anyone had this problem?
Has anyone updated their modules and had erecruiter continue to function properly?
Which updated modules break erecruiter?

I have updated my entity module to dev version and the white screen is gone.
The problem is that you need the entity api in dev version for the field collection module which is used in the resume.

I enabled errors to be seen on the white pages which helped me solve this problem. Here is the link to the page that describes how to update your index.php file:

Any suggestion for this error seen when I try to use any +add link on the resume?

The requested page "/field-collection/field-resume-personal-info/add/profile2/function.is-dir?render=overlay" could not be found.

I get a similar error for all the add links. How is this requested page built?

have also tried the latest dev, but still the same unfortunately ..

just a quick note: if you create a new profile type and then add a field collection it works perfectly :) it seems to be an issue with the default profile type that is installed with the distribution.

There should not be any issue for installing recruiter
Guide:
1.download the distro fromepiqo
install as usual
2.update the modules after installing.DO NOT replace module files before installing
Suggestion:
a.increase Php memory limit before installation
b.replace the following modules with dev versions(not mandatory) but all the latest functions will be available in dev versions and it helps
a) Views
b) Rules
c) date
d) Ctools
c) Creating a new profile type:plz think twice on why do you want it. find some alternative to achieve what you want, I found it is very difficult to have another profile2 type, because of various reasons.everything is pre-designed/configured in recruiter, like if you want to have another profile2 type then you need to create/modify registration procedures,roles, rules,rules links,search indexes,theme...

common mistakes:
1.if you are building the recruiter from make files, then your drush make isn't working properly,the required modules are not downloaded
2.if you are getting blank pages- your files are missing!!
3.after updating module clear cache as at least twice
4. if you are installing new module for extending recruiter, install in sites/all/modules NOT in profile/modules or /modules.this will confuse you and inadvertently you may delete a module which is required by recruiter

Yeeha! found what causes the render-overlay not found. Has to be set .. 'The resume is visible to the public' to be able to edit information :)
