Setup:
Mail Comment 6.x-2.2 with Mailhandler 6.x-2.4, Messaging 6.x-4.0b8, Notifications 6.x-4.0b7, Feeds

I've been able to get Notifications sent for a forum post/update and when a forum comment gets posted. I can submit a forum post via email. I've installed Mail Comment in order to enable users to submit a comment as a reply to a notification email, but I can't see that Mail Comment is doing anything at all:

The reply text line ((())) is not being inserted into outgoing messages, so I did this manually in the message template.

Although my Feed Importer reports a successful connection to the mailbox (I'm using a single mail account for forum topics and comments) and reports that there are three messages in the mailbox (which I know to be replies that in theory should be being imported and posted as comments) the messages are not being imported.

I've gone through several iterations of tweaking the settings all to no avail. Are there known conflicts with other modules, or something that I'm missing, as it is apparent that others are getting results with this module.

Can you please apply the patch to notifications at #854580: hook_notifications_message_alter() never called because method message_build() should be renamed build()?

If that works, please let me know- a note should be added to the project page.

I have made some mechanism from myself to post content & comment from my custom module.
