Number of online tutorials mention that Views-Slideshow module with Cycle for a single node with multiples images (via imagefield) can be configured with thumbnails as pager type, for example tutorial: http://www.channels.com/episodes/show/12968437/Drupal-Views-Slideshow-Cr...

Unfortunately I could not find such an option in 6.x-3.0. As shown on an attached picture Pager Type gives only Fields option. Am I missing something in my setup (only Views Slideshow, Views Slideshow: Cycle and of course Views UI are enabled on my site)? Or that option has been deprecated and gone in 3.0. Then How we can use thumbnails as a pager items?

For now I have added duplicate imagefield as field and using it in Pager Type, however if there is a option to get tumbnail option work without adding the same imagefield two times, would be nice to know.

I've found a similar discussion on http://drupal.org/node/884076, but they could at least see different options in Pager Types as Numbered or Thumbnails, whereas in my situation I don't see such options at all.

I'm having the same problem after going from 6x-2.0 to 6x-3.0.

Anyone have any ideas?

Support for Views Slideshow 6.x is mostly deprecated (ie bug fixes and major errors may be looked at and security issues, but not really anything else), so closing.
