changing superfish menu, cut off border

Hey thanks for you theme it is great.

In customizing the colour of the superfish menu, the menu-left-bg file does not sit flush with the right. I have tried to crop and add the gentle bleed mirroring the right through photoshop but it doesnt make a difference.

Also I am trying to change the hover colour and in changing the menu-hover-bg file to a grey colour it stays blue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! cheers.
