Trying to download webform results using text and tab options. Clicking download throws the error "An illegal choice has been detected.", and changes the delimiter option from tab to comma, highlighted in red. Clicking download again brings me a text file that is full of bad characters.

Excel download with tab gives me the same error, but when I accept the comma delimiter and click download, the excel file opens and reads fine.

This was happening in the latest 7.3 version. I was getting undefined variable" row_count errors also, so I installed the 7.x-3-dev dev release. Still have the illegal choice.

I haven't made any Webform changes recently except to edit an old version 6 webform.

I can't reproduce this problem. Do you have any other modules installed that may be affecting Webform's functionality? If you can provide steps to reproduce the problem from a fresh install that will help us track down the problem.

I didn't think this would be an easy one. It may be that this has to go in the file and wait for another person to notice it.

I've had some install uninstall issues with Views and administration menu. Error messages on install, and then I have to reset the cache.

PHP version changes?

This issue is quite old at this point. Did you ever figure out the problem? I'm going to move this to cannot reproduce, but if you've found what's causing this and it's something Webform should handle, please reopen this by setting back to active.
