I've just updated from an older version of CKeditor (from version 1.8 to 1.11) and now if I edit a node the changes are not saved at all.

I'm running drupal 6.22 with PHP 5.3

I have tried disabling the security filters, and it causes no effect.

Updates do save without the CKeditor module enabled, so I believe it is the module that has changed since everything was working fine before the update.

I'm hoping for any ideas on how to fix the issue? I apologize if my initial information is lacking, I can do my best to give any extra information you might need.

Thanks!

Problem Solved!

For some really bizarre reason, disabling page compression fixed my issue.

The nodes are now updating properly! I'm not going to close the ticket yet since I don't believe the page compression should affect the module, and I think it could be either a bug, or something to add to the documentation.

Cheers,

James

are you able to insert images using full html? disabling page compression only fixed the problem temporarily. What version of the modules are you using? what version of jquery.ui are you using?

I'm seeing the same problem on a page where Full HTML is enabled.
I'm using Drupal 7.

The funny thing is, I edited the same page an hour earlier, and the changes stayed.
Now, after I edit the page and click "Save", I get the previous page back without the changes.

Oh, and the page that is not saving the changes is a forum topic.

LATER:
This may not be a Drupal problem. I just shut down the Firefox browser, and opened and edited the forum topic page with Google chrome, and the changes were saved.
Go figure.
