I was captivated by Indexhibit, which you can visit here or see a demo site of here: http://www.danieleatock.com/.

It's essentially a blog for artists and photographers and, unlike most, it is very minimal:

Indexhibit is a web application used to build and maintain an archetypal, invisible website format that combines text, image, movie and sound.

The back end is especially nice, adding images is very easy.

Unfortunately it lacks RSS. Even more unfortunately, it lacks is Drupal's expandability.

I'd love to be able to do this in our favorite CMS. Any thoughts?

Bonjour:

I happen to be the guy how wrote Indexhibit. And so, I'm curious...what would it need to have the kind of 'expandability' you are searching for?

There is alot more under the hood - we still haven't put our cards on the table. ;)

Our approach was to be more like Apple/iPod. We've tried to provide solid tools (generally speaking) that people need. Trying to provide everything imaginable dilutes the experience. It's advantageous that we only need to produce a particular kind of site as opposed to any kind of site. But, Indexhibit is the child of a much larger cms that does pretty much everything one would want.

Cheers

Hi,

I was wondering if more development has occurred on Indexibit and the larger CMS? An Indexhibit Module for Drupal might be nice
