Make media_gallery_extra work with media-7.x-2.x branch [#1558560]

Hi,

I am running dev version of media gallery and media gallery extra along with media 2.x dev version. I am trying to set subdirectory for galleries root directory and directory pattern. I am able to set these without receiving an error, but they do not appear to be working as when I create new galleries or add new media, all are still being stored in the default files directory.

Can you please advise what the status of this feature is?

Hi,

Does Media gallery works with media-7.x-2.x?

I only tested media_gallery_extra module with media-7.x-1.x, it may be need to be modified to be compatible with media-7.x-2.x branch.

Are you using the patch from this issue #1244204: Make media_gallery work with media-7.x-2.x branch?

Media Gallery does not work with 2.x-branch. See #1244204: Make media_gallery work with media-7.x-2.x branch. Hopefully it will soon :)

Subdirectory for gallery root directory feature works correctly with media 1.x branch.

Support for media 2.x-branch is blocked by #1244204: Make media_gallery work with media-7.x-2.x branch

Media Gallery Extra still not working. The folder is created as it should but is stays empty as the pictures get stored in the media root folder (not files root).

I just installed 2.-dev branches of Media, Media Gallery, (and Media Browser Plus) - all the nevest devs.

am I doing something wrong?
