Argument /wild card in a path

Is it possible to have a path like
user/[something]/else
i.e.
user/123/else
user/124/else
and reference the [something] in the patch of the breadcrumb title?

I've read up on using tokens, but there does not seem to be a token for the uid of a user profile currently being visited, for example.
