Assign copyright license to group of nodes

It's great to be able to assign a particular license to each node individually, but it'd also be useful if one could specify a license for a series of nodes. What I have in mind is what happens in the sections module: one specifies the url pattern that the wanted nodes follow, and all those nodes have a certain theme. If one could do the same with copyright licenses instead of themes, it'd be much easier to use, instead of having to individually set them node per node.
