I am trying to upgrade d6 to d7, and I am using migrate fields to migrate all the fields, but I am stuck with the cck_country as it can not be migrated, can some one help?

I may have missed the point but AFAICT the countries module does not provide an upgrade path from the cck_country module. I can't see a corresponding field converter after the D7-2.x installation of the countries module.
Any hint here ?

please, could CCK Country maintainers review patch from #1840472: Migrate support: Sub-module for upgrade-path from cck_country / general support about countries cck-country -> countries upgrade-path.
