You can
- revert to Drupal 7.13,
- apply the patch in #1571104-13: Can't access non-node entities with EntityFieldQuery to Drupal 7.14, and/or
- wait and hope for one of the next Drupal 7.x releases that should fix it.
The referenced patch is marked FAILED right now, because the issue was switched to D8 — it had PASSED for D7. You may want to chime in there with reviewing/testing and emphasizing how urgently this needs to be fixed in D7.
