I've a site that collects historical events. I would to use calendar to display a block with events of actual the months (that, obviously, could be events in every year, also in XIX century).
Is it possible to make it with calendar & views?
Thanks,
Sergio

emkamau CreditAttribution: emkamau commentedI would also like to do this. Not sure if this is a date or calendar module issue. But the idea is to have a historical event appear on the calendar every year on its anniversary.

jos_s CreditAttribution: jos_s commentedThis is something I am also trying to do. I have the idea that this can be done when the date field is configured as a repeating event (yearly). However, I don't what this will look like. Also, the dates on my sites are not repeating dates, and it doesn't seem straightforward to convert them to repeating type.
Probably it could be done by changing the module such that it ignores the year of a date, or rather change it to the current year. That way the dates should show up in the calendar.
I have also noticed that dates don't show up in a calendar if no end date is defined. Alternatively they should be all day events.
When I have some more time, I'll see if I can work on this.
