Some part of the $data & $position variables in _chart_append() are not declared [#1619452]

I get several php notice in watchdog, because the $data['chxl'], $data['chxp'] is not declared and the $position['set'] is also not declared sometimes. Patch has been attached.

Just looking at the patch content, without having "reviewed" (aka tested) the patch this seems to make sense to me. At least it doesn't hurt to add these refinements, which is why I'm going to move ahead soon and apply the patch ...

If anybody in the meantime has a chance to confirm the issue, and that the patch addresses it, we have a real RTBC-status. If not I'll move forward with this issue by applying just like that.
