But that is an issue at the Realname level and can be addressed by using a CiviCRM contact field OR CiviCRM User Reference.

I need to be able to move forward with this functionality in either this project or another project next week. PLEASE either promote it and add me as a co-maintainer or acknowledge that you are not interested in moving this beyond a sandbox project.
