I gave "Edit boxes" and "Administer boxes" permission to an editor role without the "Administer blocks" permission. However, when I log in as an editor and click on the "Edit Box" link, the Box Body doesn't show up; all the other fields are visible (box description, box title, and advanced settings).
I am using OpenPublish 7.x-1.0-alpha9, which has Drupal 7.12.

I have also faced the similar issue when I used boxes("Edit in place" configuration of boxes). For me the problem with permissions of Text Formats(admin/config/content/formats).
For Example, If you have used the Full HTML for the body of box then the user should have the permission for Full HTML to see body of the box(No need to give administer boxes permissions, edit boxes permission is enough).
Thanks,
Jalandhar.
