Hello.

I just installed the 'AT Panels Everywhere' theme and created my 1st variant by cloning the AT Panels Everywhere site template.

1) I am unsure about which module to attribute the errors (shown below) to: Panels, Panels Everywhere, AT Panels Everywhere or CTools. The error occurred just after selecting a Content Type (Node home_page: Body Field) in 'Selection rules' then Update and Save.

2) Also, the description of the Content Type selected for Selection rules (see above), shows 'value equals summary equals format equals ' as though that Content Type is missing a value or two.

Error messages:

~~~~~
Notice: Undefined offset: 0 in ctools_entity_field_value_ctools_access_summary() (line 220 of /home/foo/public_html/foodir/sites/all/modules/ctools/plugins/access/entity_field_value.inc).
Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in ctools_entity_field_value_ctools_access_summary() (line 220 of /home/foo/public_html/foodir/sites/all/modules/ctools/plugins/access/entity_field_value.inc).
Notice: Undefined offset: 2 in ctools_entity_field_value_ctools_access_summary() (line 220 of /home/foo/public_html/foodir/sites/all/modules/ctools/plugins/access/entity_field_value.inc).
~~~~~

Now, I see these messages on the 'Default site template' page. I am using the AT Panels Everywhere site template layout. Where do I go from here to get the issue resolved? Thanks.

I'll try to reproduce, I think I can mostly follow what you have done, I might need some clarification on the exact steps, will let you know how it goes.

Hello Jeff and thanks for your reply.

Update: Error message gone away
=====
I changed the 'Selection rules' dropdown box selection from choosing the actual node content type by name (Node home_page: Body Field) to 'Node: type' then select the Home Page content type and the error went away. Now, the Description shows 'Node being viewed is type "Home Page"' which seems to be the correct way to do this. I found a YouTube video series by cojanti on '...Drupal Theming - Panels & Panels Everywhere HD' where I found the answer in Part 1. I still have the other videos to view.

Q: Is there other documentation that exists that you could point to that which further assists users with Panels, Panels Everywhere and ultimately AT Panels Everywhere especially as it pertains to e.g. Variants -> ... -> Contexts, Selection rules, relationships, how to structure these pieces and parts including data flow/organization/how to get mini panes to communicate with one another, etc. so that the site is efficient?

Often times, videos show what someone did, not necessarily explaining the reasoning behind their choices.

Thanks.

Node One has a great series on Panels and Page Manager, but I have not reviewed all the videos, just a couple of them.

Thanks for your reply, Jeff.

I found the videos you referenced via http://drupal.org/node/946376.

I also found info at http://drupal.org/node/946356, http://drupal.org/node/496278 and the link to the Panels manual (PDF) http://drupal.org/files/issues/manual_drupal_panels_0.pdf which has a lot of information, http://drupal.org/node/1556570 (Panels Everywhere), etc.

Lots of good resources to look at and read to get started. I am starting to work through it.

With the videos I saw already (I haven't seen the nodeone versions, yet), you find one who says use Panel Page and another who says he doesn't and therefore uses the Node template instead without elaboration (thus far)... What to do, what to do... :)

Hopefully, I will find out the reasoning within these and other videos and reading materials.

In the PDF manual, similarly for usage of mini panels versus custom pages - how to choose.

If anyone has a method/checklist or references that can shorten the learning curve of a deep understanding, please, feel free to let me know. :)

Thanks again.

I'm getting an error message on the preview screen of the subtheme default site template option in panels.

Screenshot attached.

Although it's not the same error, I thought it would save opening another thread.

Not sure if it's a panels, panels_everywhere, at_panelseverywhere, panels or panels everywhere issue.

Edit: Running latest ctools, panels mod.
