When I created my latest release I made a mistake and created the release on a branch and not a tag. I would like to be able to remove the release so I could try again and use the tag instead of the whole branch. No one is using this release as I haven't made it public yet. Would it be possible to remove it so I can try again?

drummAs far as I can tell, this seems to be working as expected. https://www.drupal.org/node/1643442 is a branch release, which is correct for dev releases. I don't see any problematic releases at https://www.drupal.org/node/656762/release right now.
In the Git repository, I do see a couple things:
7.x-2.x-rc
branch can be deleted. See http://git-scm.com/book/en/Git-Branching-Remote-Branches#Deleting-Remote... for detailed instructions.7.x.2.0-alpha
tag should be7.x-2.0-alpha1
. You can make the new tag, and see https://deekayen.net/delete-remote-git-tag for deleting the old one.Sorry for the slow response, unfortunately issues do get missed sometimes.
