Hi,

I'm trying to work out how to add a background color to a zone with two or more regions so the color just covers the columns and not the outside gutters.

If I add it to the entire zone, it extends to the outside gutters. If I add it to the regions, it doesn't color the gutter between the regions.

I want the User and Branding zones to be one block of color and then have images in the (uncolored) preface regions extending to the edge of the outer columns - making the sides of the colored regions and the images flush, if that makes sense.

I just can't work out how to do this - can you help?

Thanks very much

To the regions you add a class 'alpha' for the left gutter or 'omega' for the right gutter. This hides the gutters. So no backgrounds shows in between.

Great, thanks - that's certainly part of the answer.

Adding the alpha and omega classes has hidden the gutter between the two regions as you say. But the second region is now 20px shy of the edge of the final column. I wish I could get my head around this.
