I have created a couple new content types: job, a description of new job listings, and job application, job applications submitted by specific users. Each one has a few custom fields that I have added that all show up on the "manage fields" and "display fields" area for each content type respectively.
But, when you go to the content creation page for either content type (/node/add/(content-type), only the default "Title" and "Body" fields appear. None of the fields I added appear.
Does anyone know why this happens and how to fix it?
Thanks.

Title: Field Listed on Content Types Menu, but not displayed when creating that content
I upgraded to 6.28 and I can see all content types listed on admin/content/types, and all the fields created for each content type when I select Manage Fields, but these fields do not appear on that content type when creating content.
Specifically, it appears that the Taxonomy Vocabulary I custom set up does not show up on the create content page for some types of created content, while it does on other content types.
Permissions seem good.
Additionally, the add field tab that should be visible at /admin/content/node-type/forum/fields is not there.
I am having almost the same problem as described by Ugh, in node/1263802#comment-4924142.
Any insights would be welcome. I want and need my content categorized!
This problem happened, as far as I can tell, when I upgraded to 6.28.
Thanks!

DrJordi CreditAttribution: DrJordi commentedThe only thing I can say is after two weeks with Drupal 7 I could found all the possible bugs in the world. When I though my site was finished I decided to add a new content type but it didnt want to be integrated in the add content menu, great!! after reading many useless post in this site I decided to start from scratch. Second mistake, when I though everything was ready to use I realized that you can not manage the display of the fields for a content type, great!! So it is the fucking third time I am trying to build the site. It use to be a pleasant trip to play around with the version 6, but looks like version seven is a peace of buggy shit, so I recommend all the developers involved to move away since youre only destroying Drupal, thank you for making me wasting time
