Degradation in Internet Explorer

Hello, I've seen a couple other posts about this issue, but there doesn't seem to be a solution. When viewing the file browser in IE, I see the degradation version. We're using a really old version (it's a website that I'm slowly kicking the tires on and trying to fix) as well as FCKeditor. Any suggestions?
